Rebecca Robeson began her design business in 1994 crediting her success with
"Listening, Listening, Listening... followed by near magic powers of translation".
"Sometimes, it's what they say; but more often, it's what they mean...
That takes discernment on my part. My job is to listen intently".
Guided by her inherent gift of connecting with and interpreting her client's desires, Rebecca has been able to transform her client's aspirations for their living spaces into homes
beyond their wildest dreams. "Listening is the key to creating a home that defines a client's personal taste", noted Robeson, "when walking through a home, I want to be immersed in the personal style of the owner".
Rebecca takes pride in incorporating her client's personal collections and treasures in breathtakingly unpredictable ways. She dedicates her efforts to customizing interior finishes, furnishings, window treatments, area rugs, art and accessories that are significant to the homeowner. When
unified, these details inspire an experience of luxury living that becomes both intimately real and personal... Rebecca is insistent on design that lives with it's owners,
"You should always be able to curl you feet up on the sofa".
Background of experience other than Interior Design:
Fashion Designer, Fashion show producer, Public Speaker, Human Resources, Personal Shopper, Musical Theatre.
Simply put, I love Design.
I have always enjoyed sitting back and imagining what could be; and yet, the greatest joy my work has afforded me is witnessing those visions transform into realities. That these realities continue to not only exceed my own expectations, but to change the way people live, is what inspires me to keep working every day.
My passion for interior design began on my own journey towards the perfect home. After purchasing our first home, I went through the difficult and expensive process of choosing furniture, fabrics, lighting and accessories that reflect the reality of my growing family and the desire to feel good about entertaining guests in our home.
My search for exceptional design led to the discovery of my personal style; it was fun, eclectic, beautiful, functional and seemingly effortless... it was different. The response from guests who entered our home was always accompanied by a resounding "Wow".
Fourteen years later, the "Wows" are still spreading from house-to-house, as my clients continue to enthusiastically refer my services to their friends and co-workers. I count it a privileged to be invited into people's lives to help them create homes that truly celebrate life. Each new project begins another awesome experience.
Today, my work as an Interior Decorator/Designer has afforded me the opportunity to design a custom-line of furniture and rugs to be sold in the exclusive California retail stores, as well as being available to my clients. Most recently, my good fortune and reputation for high quality projects has granted me national recognition as one of the featured Designers in Steven Noble's "Aiming At Affluence" 2008 Panel of Successful Designers.

Staircase Design
Why save the detail and innovation for the design of the main

beauty. Though often perceived as the “in-between” spaces, staircases
are arguably one of the most trafficked parts of a home. These two
custom wrought iron staircase designs are so beautiful they become
