Mary Kate Flannery grew up in Metro Detroit. The youngest of four, she was the lone girl in a family of boys. An avid hockey fan, Mary Kate originally attended Boston University to study Broadcast Journalism in hopes of becoming a hockey commentator. However, her passion for design and desire to live in a warmer climate ultimately won out. Mary Kate now calls San Diego home where she not only works full time at Robeson Design but is also busy earning her BFA in Interior Design in the evenings.
Mary Kate’s love of design and background in operations make her the perfect Project Manager. “She is the glue that holds our office together”, said Rebecca, “she manages to keep us on track and in line, while still being everyones favorite in the office. Now that takes serious talent!”. If there’s a detail that needs to be attended to, Mary Kate’s your girl. Mary Kate enjoys spending her spare time hanging out with her family and friends. As an active member of Voices for Children, Mary Kate volunteers a lot of her time serving as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for foster kids in San Diego. She also enjoys yoga, tennis, traveling or adding to her vast collection of shoes.
